Estimator – Fitout Projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Cost Estimates: Develop detailed cost estimates for multiple fitout projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
• Coordinate with Project Managers: Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely cost estimations.
• Analyze Specifications and Drawings: Review project specifications and drawings to prepare precise cost estimates.
• Budget Management: Manage the estimation process to ensure alignment with budget constraints across various projects.
• Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices for materials and services for multiple projects.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential cost risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all estimates, including assumptions, methodologies, and supporting documentation.
• Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide clear, detailed estimates.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on current costs of materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve estimation processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in cost estimation, preferably in fitout, construction, or similar industries.

Expertise: Proven skills in preparing detailed cost estimates and managing budget constraints.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of project specifications, drawings, and cost estimation methodologies.

Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
